The Definition and principle of Power grid simulator

It is a kind of AC power supply which can simulate the output of power grid. The three-phase output can be adjusted independently. It can stack harmonics and do low voltage ride through experiment. The utility power is connected to the three-phase PWM rectifier through the isolation transformer and three-phase reactance to form a stable DC voltage,Three groups of independent single-phase PWM inverter are used to invert the DC voltage, and the output is isolated by transformer LC filter. Three groups of single-phase constitute three-phase power supply output. The main circuit structure of the simulator is power grid analog power supply and its control method.

At present, it has been widely used in solar inverter testing and identification institutions, solar inverter research and development, University electrical laboratory, home appliance enterprise laboratory, product acceptance and daily maintenance testing.

    Main functions of power grid simulator

     The three-phase voltage can be adjusted independently, and the phase setting range is 0-360 degrees

    The output three-phase voltage value and phase can be adjusted independently without mutual influence. The voltage of each phase (2 phases) can be set arbitrarily. The phase can be adjusted from 0 to 360 degrees without dead angle.

     It can inject multiple harmonics to simulate the quality adaptability test of power grid

    The interference source can be created by human intervention, the harmonic number can be superimposed 2-50 times, at the same time, more than 5 kinds of different harmonics can be injected, and the total harmonic content is not less than 15%.

     It has synchronous trigger function, which is convenient and accurate for zero, low and high voltage ride through test

    With single-phase / two-phase independent low through and high through functions, the voltage can drop below 5V instantly, drop to 1% of the set voltage, rise to 150% of the working voltage, and the dynamic response is 1ms. It can meet the low voltage ride through test detection of Solar inverter and wind turbine type test. It is also suitable for grid connection acceptance of Solar power station, grid connection acceptance of wind farm, type test of Solar inverter and low voltage ride through detection platform of wind turbine

     The output frequency is 45-65hz, continuously adjustable, and the step distance is 0.01Hz. It is easy to do under frequency experiment and anti islanding experiment

     It has memory function, and can set several groups of common voltage, frequency and phase parameters for storage, which is convenient to use with one key

     With step programming mode, each step can set the output voltage, frequency, operation time, etc., cycle operation and cycle times

     It has the mode of gradual change and jump of output voltage and frequency, and can set the starting voltage and frequency of gradual change, and the ending voltage, frequency and time of gradual change

     High measurement accuracy, suitable for testing half sine wave and other similar waveforms with DC component

     Output current and voltage limiting function

     Protection mode: overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, overload, short circuit, current limiting, voltage limiting, etc

     For 100% unloading and loading, the reaction time is less than 20ms, the overload capacity is strong, and the instantaneous current can bear three times of the rated current
